November Coding & Cupcakes | Web Development Workshop

Join Kansas City Women in Technology’s monthly coding series, Coding & Cupcakes. Parents and daughters are invited to attend sessions to learn about code and bond while working on programming projects together. The mission? To get girls excited about code at a young age and to dispel any notion that coding isn’t for girls.
In this workshop, attendees will learn the basics of website development using various tools and languages: Chrome, Github, CodeSandbox, HTML and CSS. There will be lots of guidance and support for those with little to no coding experience. To participate, girls must have the ability to read, type and use a mouse.
