Verizon Innovative Learning Labs | Wearable Technology

Verizon and Project Lead The Way (PLTW) have partnered to create a new kind of hands-on learning for kids to experience in Verizon retail stores. These interactive labs are free and will introduce skills like coding or design while using new technology like virtual reality, robotics and 3-D printing.

January Lab: Wearable Technology
Did you know that wearables are one of the fastest growing technologies in today’s market? In the Wearables lab, kids will express their personalities by programming their own wearable LED name-tags. They will even have the opportunity to create custom, scrolling animation sequences! At the end of the session, kids will be able to show off their name-tags and take them to continue to program at home.
