American Royal

As an organization dedicated to youth and education, the American Royal reached more than 18,000 students through educational programs, events and outreach. At the middle school level, the AgSTEM Explorer Program cultivates an opportunity for exploration through classroom visits from American Royal and industry partners. This program highlights the career opportunities in food science, plant science, veterinary science, technology, etc. and how middle school students can find relevant, rewarding careers in the agriculture industry.

The American Royal is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Kansas City since October 1899. Today, we provide opportunities for youth and adults from around the country to compete in our Livestock Show, ProRodeo, and Horse Shows. Many people know us for our World Series of Barbecue®, which is actually our largest fundraiser.
